RESOPHONIC PLAYERS OF EUROPE 2005

Resophonic guitar has it's irreplaceable existence in the history of popular music and its typical sound can be found in almost all music styles - country, bluegrass, Hawaii, blues, folk, jazz, rock, etc. This is one of the reasons why we - fans of this unique music instrument, the roots of which are in Slovakia where John Dopyera (1893-1988), the inventor of this instrument was born, decided to found an independent association called The World Resophonic Association (WRA). The Resophonic Players of Europe 2005 Compilation CD has been created to explore these roots and its reach into future directions. Features over 1 hour of Resophonic Roots Indie Music of Europe.
