The Wrags Unique Sound

The Wrags are one of the few bands that still have the
same sound in 2005 as they had in 1965. For forty years The
Wrags have pounded out their music raw and bloody. They were alternative before there was an alternative. They
were grunge before Grunge was born. They were the original rough edge of the rock 'n roll scene in the late 60's. They built or stole most of their equipment so they could get the raw Wrags sound. They have steadfastly refused to get too
"tight", too "polite"or too "clean"!

PSYCHIDELIC SOUND!
author: Ashley & Mary Diamond

Rockit is an awesome CD. This psychdelic sound attracts the young and the old. As part of the younger generation, we have not experienced the real garge band sound until now. For the older generation, they are treated to a blast from the past. We hope speak for everyone when we say that these guys can ROCKIT!

Nice original artist spin on covers done in a tribute style. Must have for clas

This album is a must have if you enjoy listening to a song performed in a different light. Yes they are the songs we all remember but done with a nice original artist spin - the only way it should be done. While listening to the Wrags put their personal touch on things I guarantee you will feel like it is the first time you heard these classics. The musicianship is top notch and the vocals are out of this world.

60s irreverent bawdy rock and roll rebel music

The Wrags recreate the vintage 60s with their irreverent bawdy rock and roll rebel sound. This cd is as good as their unbelievable preformance at the 1967 Indiana State fair. Our pretty boy band could not compete with the WRAGS.

Gramps with Amps have a good time and

The self-described "Gramps With Amps" seem to be having a good time as they romp through their telecaster-driven versions of a dozen rock songs from the mid/late 60's. The Wrags decribe themselves as "not too tight" but they are tight enough as they hit all the notes they needed to. The vocals are excellent. This is a CD that is great to drive to or play during a party. I particularly liked "Gloria", "For Your Love" and "We Gotta Get Out of this Place". There were no clunkers. Recommended!
