Anyone who loves good guitar music will love the music of Kevin Wright, a fingerpicking guitarist in the style of Chet Atkins.

Kevin began playing the guitar at age 13, and soon thereafter fell in love with Chet Atkins’ fingerstyle guitar. Kevin listened to as many of Chet’s records as he could find, slowing them down by playing the records at half speed, learning songs note by note.

Having a love for music of all styles, earning degrees in music theory and composition, and playing gigs since the early 70’s has given Kevin a wide range of musical experiences to draw upon in his music. This is evident in the wide variety of songs on Kevin’s first self-titled CD, which contains mostly guitar instrumental arrangements, with some smooth vocals on a few tracks.

Whether it’s a contemporary country ballad, an old standard pop song, or a classic rock tune, you’ll love Kevin’s guitar playing and singing.
