Founded in 2006, Whistlin' Rufus is an old time string band featuring fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar and "doghouse" bass. Good Times in Old Louie Town boasts 19 tracks, 8 of which are original compositions.

You'll find driving dance tunes, spooky fiddle/banjo duets, heart wrenching lyrics, beautiful slow arrangements, and progressive avant garde 12 tone jazz experimentation.
