Brazilian/British artist Charlson Ximenes (pronounced shee-men-es) started playing the clarinet and the saxophone when he was 9 years old, and by the age of 14 he was playing these instruments and the guitar professionally.
Charlson's relentless enthusiasm for musical diversity allows him to be constantly involved in live and studio projects as a musician and/or producer. Additionally to recording his own solo CD "COLLISION COURSE", Charlson has worked with some great artists and producers from around the world.
He currently writes, produces and re-mixes music in styles that range from Rock, Pop, Electronica, Jazz, Classical to Latin, including many sub-genres.
A follow-up to the Collision Course CD is also on the cards.
PUBLIC RESPONSE:
The songs "Scanning The Sky" and "Say You Need Me" reached numbers 3 and 5, respectively, in the UK-Sounds Chart and "Don't Believe Your Eyes" continues to be a favourite amongst many radio station listeners worldwide.
