ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
XIV HOURS is the auditioned a cappella ensemble at Durham Academy in Durham, NC. Founded in October of 2009, we rehearse once per week. We perform at numerous functions around DA, including our annual WISER A Cappella Jam co-hosted with our unauditioned 40-member ensemble and featuring many high school groups from the Triangle area.

This album was recorded and mixed over the summer of 2010 with Carl Taylor of Liquid 5th Productions, one of the premiere a cappella production companies in the US, located in North Carolina. We're very proud of our debut album, and hope you enjoy it! More to come soon!

Durham Academy is an independent, coeducational day school with 1,130 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12, and welcomes students of any race, creed, color or national origin. The school annually awards over $1,400,000 in need-based financial aid. For more information, contact our admissions office.
