Album Notes
Yabing Tan
Violinist Yabing Tan is one of China’s rising Classical Music Stars. She is a Grand Prize winner of the Great Wall Competition and has performed as soloist in China, Canada, the United States, and Europe. Ms. Tan studied with the legendary Chinese violin teacher Prof. Lin Yaoji at age 7 in the Central Conservatory in Beijing. She completed her studies as a Starling Fellow with Prof. Kurt Sassmannshaus at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She performs on an 18th century Januarius Gagliano violin, a loan from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Hai Jin
Pianist Hai Jin graduated from the China Conservatory of Music in 2009 as a student of Bing Han. After solo appearances with several Chinese orchestras, she made her US debut in 2010 at Boston University. She subsequently began graduate studies with Awadagin Pratt at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she is an active recitalist and chamber musician.
