Album Notes

Vincent Yannucci was born in Warren,Ohio on August 25,1954. He comes from a musical family. He credits his father,Sammy,who was a constant source of encouragement throughout his musical career. Inspired by The Beatles performance on the Ed Sulivan Show, he took up the drums. In high school,Vincent became fascinated with the Blues/Rock musical sounds of Edgar Winter and Jerry LaCroix in the band White Trash,Rare Earth and Pop/Rock group Crack The Sky. Being an independent musician and producer in the 80's and early 90's, Vincent signed on with the Dead Dog Records Corporation in 1995 playing drums and recording/touring with Out of Nowhere. In 1998 Vincent teamed up with Gary Lee, undoubtledly one of the most respected musicians in the area, to record his first solo project a two song sampler for Dead Dog Records. IN 2001 Vincent explored the realms of Rock,Jazz Fussion and Blues in his Soul Groovers CD release his most successful project which received rave reviews. Soul Groovers received airplay in the United States and Europe. Instrumental songs Eclipse,Night Flight,Santa Ana Winds and Wicked Venture were used on radio commercials. Excellent album, I liked every song this album. It kicks ass. It grooves, jams, and also vocal blends are excellent. Really nice bluesy, very jazzy influences. First time I have ever heard it an di will by this on Monday when I come back to this site.
