With no exceptions, ÑAWI is all-original music, composed by almost every single musician of the band, arranged and independently produced by Luis Roberto Cachimuel and Yarina.

Using above twenty different instruments ranging from native wind pipes to violin, sax, guitars, bass, drums and more, Yarina creates a highly original, lively, sensual and evocative music that serves to surprise and delight our evergrowing number of listeners. It's wholehearted dedication to musicianship, excellence and cultural expression has earned them the honor of being named "Ambassadors for Indigenous Ecuadorian Performers" by the Department of Culture. Made up of seven brothers, musicians with different musical study backgrounds and two sisters who sing and perform traditional indigenous dances, they perform all over the U.S and have been one the featured performers at the 4th Native American Music Awards(NAMMYS)and in 2005 at the 7th NAMMYS held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino wich earned them three nominations: GROUP OF THE YEAR, SONG OF THE YEAR and Winners in the category of "BEST WORLD MUSIC"
