About Yehuda Freeman's music:
Mellifluous Marvellousness This track is a real feelgood number, and a skilfully executed one. All the essential ingredients are present and correct: a dulcet core melody, counter-melodies that are both intuituve and inventive, and a bass that's supple and surprisingly deep. These elements combine to give the track a winning combination of breeziness and sensuousness There are additional little trills that make this stand out even more; The lop-sided beat is particularly inspired. The vocals are so laid back they are practically horizontal, but this actually creates a warmth and intimacy totally at home with the welcoming aura of the track. To this reviewer, such an assesment counts as high praise indeed! - simonP London, United Kingdom
OUR FAVORITE BAND IN THE WORLD EVER!!! A good album takes you somewhere you’ve never been before. A great album takes you somewhere that you didn’t even imagine was possible: a place that can be so unfamiliar, or anachronistic, or so offputting that it shakes you out of your limited worldview. With all of the elements of good indie-rock, It’s low-fi. It’s a pastiche of different musical styles, woven together with masterful sense of collage. It’s retro. And most importantly, its lyrics are so witty and playful as to almost sound ironic. - Matt Wetstein
