Album Notes

Yellow Delicious rocks with a refeshingly unique sound that's familiar but like nothing you've heard. Combining vocal harmonies, pop hooks and powerful guitars, the band uses these ingredients to create the energetic positive vibe that is Yellow Delicious.

Yellow Delicious consists of twin brothers, Pat and Mike Kostalnick (guitars & vocals), Greg Dempsey (drums & vocals) and Ian Morrison (bass & vocals). They have rocked audiences from Nashville to Charlotte to New Jersey, performing at numerous colleges, clubs and festivals. They have been selected for various showcases, including the Midatlantic Music Conference, Motor City Music Conference, CMJ/Rock Hall Music Festival and have opened for/shared the stage with bands such as Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Cheap Trick, The Darkness, Blessid Union of Souls, The Calling, Cracker, The Fixx, Cowboy Mouth, Sum 41, The Clarks, Brownie Mary, and Dirty Americans.

When Big Ed McMahon came knocking with his internet version of Star Search, YD was the only Ohio band to advance to the final round. YD was a finalist in Sennheiser's Evolution Band Contest and they were selected to compete in Little Steven's Underground Garage Battle of the Bands. They also performed in the Cleveland Music Showcase at the Scene Pavilion sponsored by House Of Blues Enteretainment.

Currently, YD has just released their second CD, GET SOME!,which was recorded at Robby Takac's (bass player of the Goo Goo Dolls) studio in New York. So far it has been receiving positive reviews and college radio airplay nationwide. Since the release, YD has been voted one of the best rock bands in Cleveland by Scene Magazine, performed at the International Pop Overthrow festival in Philadelphia and performed at the legendary CBGBs in New York. They are also looking forward to touring in support of the new disc and spreading the word YD!
