Album Notes

The YellowHammers' fourth and latest recording is self-titled. Chicago music legend, Jon Langford produces the album and leaves his unique fingerprint not only on the production, but also on the album artwork. This collection adds to a rich catalog of songs that are filled with scenes that are sometimes folrlorn but more often redemptive and characters that are lost, fallen, sincere and salvaged on the shoulders of each other. The disc opens with "Everybody's Joking" a tribute to a lost legend and closes with "Just the Same" a modern lullaby. In between, you'll find songs of misguided love, corruption and revenge and an ode to The King.
