YNOT...great times
author: SCANDALS
Used to work at Scandals in OC during YNOTs heyday of the late 80s early 90s. These guys came out of nowhere and within a few short weeks were playing 2-3-4 nights a week and absolutely killing it!! I've seen literally hundreds of bands come and go (nationals included) and not one ever outdid YNOT's live energy. The charisma and talent were off the charts. Looking back I still do not understand how they didn't make it to the big time...came so close. I really think the production on the Thrilled Voice was not up to their level and just didn't match their on stage performance...hence their best shot was a miss. Oh well...they still rock and this album brings back many memories of a fantastic band. Still remember the goosebumps that often came when these guys rocked a full house at "shambles"
What a great time, great place and a FANTASTIC band.

Just a fantastic group of guys. From the Stone balloon in Newark to Hammer Jacks in Baltimore, we YNOT?! groupies were there. Their magical lyrics kept us all moving and in love with them. I miss them all and will miss Steve’s smile the most. I am sure he is shacking the wings of the angels as I type! Much love friend, much love!

How could you not buy it?!

Once a Ynot fan, always a Ynot fan. My old girlfriend turned me onto them back in the day and used to drag me to shows. Turns out, she had great taste in music. It was hard not to get caught up in it, it was so contagious.
So when I need a little of that Ynot feel good, I'll be popping this disc in my player.
Thanks for the legacy guys.
