Album Notes

This CD of 16 Great Bluegrass tunes was recorded in early spring 1973 (Vinyl LPS 304). Recently transfered to compact disc JRC 920011 (Jewel Records). Rusty York who had the big hit single SUGAREE. Lonnie Mack had the electric guitar instrumental hit on MEMPHIS & WHAM fame, and JR Bennett combine their extraordinary talents to create this awseome bluegrass instrumental collection. Unique instrumentation of banjo and fiddle sets this one apart. There is one vocal for good measure by Lonnie Mack I'LL FLY AWAY. Enjoy!

This recording just happens to not have a traditional mandolin. Which, sets it apart. It has been said that it is one of the best bluegrass recordings ever done in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Featuring:
Rusty York - 5 String Banjo
Lonnie Mack - Guitar
Jr Bennett - Fiddle
Vernon McIntire- 2nd Banjo

A different version of Dueling Banjos. A duel between a fiddle and banjo. CHECK IT OUT!

Enjoy!
