Music for Ballet Lovers, Vol.2, like Vol.1, features ballet music music from classic, contemporary, & modern ballets. Also,just as Vol. 1, Music for Ballet Lovers, Vol.2 is designed in the sequential lesson order to assist instructors teach ballet classes.
There are 33 selections for barre & center, plus an addtitional 7 for Pas de deux classes, thought the Pas de deux pieces can also be used for regular class instruction at the teacher's discreation. The barre section includes 17 tunes, 15 solo piano , & 2 with piano & flugelhorn. The center section has 16 tunes, 9 solo piano, & 7 with piano & trumpet. Finally, the Pas de deux section contains 7 tunes, 1 solo piano, the rest with trumpet & piano.
Yoshi's inspired performance exhibits her knowledge, experience, & passion for ballet music. She collaborated with her husband, trumpet & flugelhorn player, Doug Gurwell, on 15 tunes. These 15 songs were selected to emphasize the energy & emotion involved in ballet music. We're sure this Cd will make ballet class experiences a very enjoyable one for both dancers & instructors.
