Youna

An angel with the sound of a demon…

She has that little something in her voice that makes you say more…more of this talent coming from out of nowhere…
No need to say that she has the music under her skin from her influences to her final draw of expression.
Her idols: Michael Jackson and the whole Motown family. From the hip-hop scene to metal rock…with some eastern touches and the natural background of her European culture she makes music out of her heart.
But her real inspiration comes from the inner force off her own universe where she can express herself and escape from the role model that society expects to find in any young woman.
She was born in a musical family and often got her first milk while her father was working in the studio arrange and composing for many artists in Europe and stayed there until the age of 11 when her parents decided to move to south east Asia where she enrolled the American school of Bangkok. She performed on several occasions for festivals but mainly as a dancer and drama artist in which she received best actress of the school reward.
As her father was still working as a producer and session musician, she asked him to make some songs for her but it was difficult to the project to come of the ground because of the closeness. Finally they managed to finish 12 songs and in the process Youna started to enjoy the fact of engineering and producing and decided to attend the recording workshop in Ohio. She meted some very inspiring people and became very close with Paul Pollard a teacher and composer who asked her to record some of his songs.
Now that the recordings are finalized, she is in search of a company ready to give her a chance.
