Gospel music meets R&B resulting in R&P (rhythm and praise). That' s the best way to describe the style of Young Entertainment's new gospel artist Daniel Young with his debut CD titled "Let You Know" . "My mission is to let the world know that Jesus Christ is real, and he is willing to save you no matter what you have done. And I will let the world know that there is someone who can spread his message without compromise." "Let You Know" was released February 7, 2006.

Historical Background: Daniel began his musical path singing as a child in church. " I' ve been singing since I' ve been talking.'" He remembers his father' s singing group, The Emmanuels rehearsing every Saturday resulting in Daniel having his own group The Junior Emmanuels. In that group made of his brother and a friend, Daniel was given the opportunity to sing in numerous venues around the United States before he was 11 years old. He began playing the saxophone and joined the school band in 6th grade, and eventually began playing piano in the church as a self taught musician. He later began writing and producing for himself and other Detroit artists. Daniel' s vocal and saxophone skills led him to further his education after high school. He studied music at Wayne State University where he earned his Bachelor' s Degree in Music Education. After teaching band for three years in the Detroit Public Schools district, he was laid off due to economic hardship. Therefore, he decided to take his singing, writing, and production skills to another level by focusing on what he loves: creating gospel music. Over the years, Daniel has produced many artists such as the jazzy flavored title cut of Darnell Kendricks' "Strawberry Lemonade". He also produced (as a ghost writer) The Emmanuels debut CD "Meet the Emmanuels" , which topped out at #16 on Billboard' s Gospel Charts.

Additional Info: Daniel is CEO of Young Entertainment, an independent record label that began in August of 2005. He also works as an instrumental music teacher at Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences. Daniel can be found every Sunday at New Vision Cathedral of Praise, where he serves as Sunday School teacher, organist, and praise team member.
