Album Notes

Young Duce or Duce-C as he is known in Hip-Hop circles was born and raised in Kansas City Missouri and has been working his craft since a young age. Duce grew up being influenced by such artist as Bone Thugs n Harmony 2Pac and local artist such as Tech-Nine. Growing up in the hood Duce tells his story through his lyrics and experiences. He has been called to battle by some of the best and more often than not has left the competition thrashed. He has featured on many compilations and mix tapes throughout his young career but his first solo project Sounds of the Streets is a well thought provocative mixture of street hoodism thus the title track "Sounds of the Streets" with a positive twist of reality as shown in "Better Days" and "Till I die" coupled with club hits such as "Bounce to this" and "We came to have a party". Duce is ready to set the Hip Hop world on fire with his creativity and lyricism. Known as a dominant freestyler unlike many artists Duce has been able to make the transition to the studio booth and live performances and has recorded a true masterpiece.
