Born and raised in Macedonia, 26 year-old singer-songwriter Yova Radevska has been a recording artist in her homeland since the age of twelve. There her recordings with Macedonian legend Tose Pop Simonon led to several national TV appearances and a wealth of national press exposure.
But Yova longed to travel…
Relocating to London as soon as she was old enough to do so, Yova settled into city life as a student whilst all the time searching for suitably sympathetic collaborators to realize her passionate musical visions. And for such a unique talent this would prove quite a task…
In her final week of completing her Diploma in Popular Music at West London’s Vocal Tech, Yova had become disillusioned and resigned to returning to Macedonia but fate was about to step in. The college happened to be visited by the Mitchell/Caulfield song-writing/production team auditioning artists for various media projects, who heard Yova practicing in another room and realised immediately they had found something quite exceptional. Kindred spirits in wanting to create music of lasting beauty charged with genuine emotional depth, an intense period of
writing and recording soon followed.
The result is the stunning debut album “Hourglass Diary”.
“Yova has an entirely unique quality to her voice. She is a total star!”
