"Dreams of Wind and Water" is a collection of solo piano improvisations reflecting a variety of moods, from the serenity of "Moonlight on the Black Sea" to the exuberance of "Sail Races". And while "Dreams" is primarily seductive easy listening, there are several cuts here that won't be hurt if they're cranked up on the drive home.
Daro's passionate style and melodic inventiveness have been rapidly gaining him fans around the world, and his teaming with Ed Bonk of LAZZ Promotions is making "Dreams of Wind and Water" a staple on New Age radio playlists.
Over the years, Daro played in rock, jazz, and blues bands, gave solo classical recitals, and wrote and performed scores for dozens of professional theatrical productions. His next CD, "Beyond the Edge of Time", will be released very shortly (samples from several of the songs are currently available at www.yrsandaro.com, and the CD will also be for sale here). The new CD is a companion piece to "Dreams of Wind and Water", and while it still features the scintillating piano work of the "Dreams", the songs also include hard-edged percussion, synthesizers, and a variety of world and ethnic instruments.

A wonderful music of rare taste
author: Augusto
I first met the music of Yrsan Daro on Soundclick, with "Cascade". I must say his style and charming piano play got me since the very first listen. Tasteful skillful play, rich sound and a real talent. I have to say that the music of this artist is a unique blend of new age piano and classical influences. A rare gift, a true talent.
Greetings from your italian fan,
