Yukon Women in Music is a musical collective that started with several women who recognized a need for a framework to support and encourage women songwriters. The membership now includes about 30 women with musical
interests ranging from songwriting to sound technology.

Yukon Women in Music is a volunteer-run organization that meets monthly to organize concerts, workshops and fundraising events, as well as to provide networking opportunities for women in and around the Whitehorse area.
Most recent successes include the release of the Yukon Women in Music Compilation CD that features 14 YWIM members, as well as the 1st Annual Garden Party held at the Stehelin Ranch.
