Album Notes

Juliane and Gunther Kowski grew up in East Germany playing music together since they were young. Juliane moved to NYC after studying music in Berlin and NYC in 1996. She then also studied Music Therapy and always sang while working as a music therapist. The siblings recorded their first CD "5036 Miles" in 2008 entirely via internet. Juliane started playing regularly in several Jazz band formations around Jackson Hole with jazz pianist Keith Phillips who then was invited to record many of the r piano/keyboard tracks on the new Cd " Change". Juliane moved to the Bay area in 2011 to expand her work and music opportunities. The CD " Change" is entirely produced and recorded via internet, mirroring life changes in both siblings lives.
