I bought 3 Degrees as a gift. My step mom met & fell in love with Yve and her music on a cruise and can't wait to see her perform live again. She & the band are all they talk about The Blackbird arrangement is so cool - it's out of this world Her arrangements & vocals are stunning. Yve's Mood Indigo is the sexiest coolest arrangement ever ~ The entire album puts everyone in a wonderful relaxed mood.

This disc feels like Yve's singing just for you-- more personal and emotive than her earlier discs.

I first heard this YVE EVANS woman on KKJZ raido in Long Beach. I was in shock, I could not find the words to say how I felt, it was like she was singing just to me. Even with a tune like "LOVE FOR SALE" that has been around for my whole life......somehow Yve made the song new. I don't really know music but I do know what I like, no better still I KNOW WHAT I LOVE, AND I LOVE YVES WORK. Back to LOVE FOR SALE when Yve and her band do the song there is a DRIVING BASS line that nobody has ever done. Her voice has power beyond just singing she takes you with her on a trip to Musicland. A place where music rules and YVE EVANS is QUEEN. Much like Ray Charles, Yve does JAZZ, BLUES, GOSPEL, COUNTRY AND SHOWTUNES and does them all well....but she never copies a song she finds ways to make them hers. BOTTOM LINE I LOVE THIS CD AND WILL SOON HAVE ALL FIVE CD's BY THE QUEEN OF MUSICLAND YVE EVANS.

This CD is marvelous! This intimate collection of tunes left me with a loss for words. With every song, I felt as if Yve Evans was right there with me. I experienced a sense of relaxation while feeling motivated to accomplish the tasks before me. I didn’t think that it was possible but Yve Evans is even more powerful,, more impressive and mor dynamic in her performance. Her performance is vigourous, astounding and beyond belief.
