Yvonne is a sultry vocalist whose dynamic style pleads with the listener to experience the Love of God. Her songs display a vulnerability and transparency that touches the heart of everyone. Each track is a declaration of her intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Songs like “The One” “Integrity” and “The Bible Is” reflect her focus and relevance found in the word of God. “It takes a committed relationship for people get to really know each other and find a deeper sense of love and security. That is what I experience in knowing the Lord. And, I want so much for the whole world to discover the “Treasure” that I have found.”

Although raised in New Haven, Connecticut, Yvonne is a native of Hemmingway South Carolina. Her vocal prowess yielded many opportunities to perform in numerous plays and talent competitions in high school. She has been a prominent voice backing up several artists, performing jingles and voiceovers. Yvonne earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Sound Recording from the University of New Haven. After studying Music Theory, and Pro Audio Production, she completed her internship at Sountec Studios. She has since grown into an accomplished singer/songwriter/producer whose anointed contralto voice and soul-stirring lyrics inspires hearts and leaves you utterly speechless.

Yvonne has numerous accolades to her credit: She has recorded with celebrities, Jose Feliciano, and Donna Summers. Yvonne has shared the stage with nationally known artists such as Donnie McClurkin, Vickie Winans, Ron Kenoly, John P. Kee, Helen Baylor, Ben Tankard, Vanessa Williams, Michael Bolton, and “Til Tuesday, etc. She composed and performed a song for the soundtrack of the French film “Girl Talk,” performed jingles and voiceovers for The American Comedy Network, and wrote three songs for the Talented Tenth Productions play, “Yo Street.”

Yvonne has a passion for outreach opportunities. She sang in various street ministries, Unity in The Community” at Golf Street Park, New Haven, and The New Haven Green’s Gospel Concert. Not only has Yvonne’s energetic style been embraced by the Christian community, she has also brought the gospel to The Shubert Theatre’s 75th Anniversary Celebration, Sweet Waters Café in New York City and The Berlin Blues Festival.
