Zach Rowell is the newest name on the rock scene and hails from Seattle, Washington. His rock style is a young and exhilarating blend of Foo Fighters, Nickelback, and Daughtry. He is remarkably talented as a young solo artist and as the frontman in his rock band, "Oaklawn." He is an award winning musician and vocalist with songwriting skills which rival the pros. With more than 30 songs to his credit, he has chosen 6 to debut on this EP. Zach chose to record his EP at Robert Lang Studios with Emmy Nominated producer/engineer, Chris Rahm, because Foo Fighters and Nirvana both recorded albums there and they were his biggest influences. At the age of 7, Zach began studying instrumental techniques with pros of bands such as Janis Joplin's "Big Brother and the Holding Company" and "Autograph." He was personally mentored by Dave Mustaine "Megadeth" for a live performance at Paul Allen's Seattle Experience Music Project to open its "Nirvana" exhibit in 2011. His vocal coach is the renown Susan Carr "Layne Staley of Alice in Chains." Get ready to rock with Zach Rowell and be sure to follow him on Twitter, Facebook, and Reverbnation. This is your opportunity to ride on this new wave of rock and take part in its newest rising star!
