Album Notes

These songs are about the 60's - 90's Germany. We actually had a good time and were protected from the cold political world around us. We grew up protected and we could all enjoy the English and Amercan music.
Our parents told us that Germany is the way it is, I wanted that the school systems to be more like the English or American where learning subjects like art were more accessable. The German schoolsytem was boring and oppressive and we worked ten times harder than the kids in England in this day and age.
My mother came from a small town behind Berlin and when the wall was build, they fled as life under communist rule wasn't what they wanted. A country under this form of rulership lost it's value und so the houses had lost their value and they all gave them up. They send my mother and grandparents to the countryside of the lower Rhine which is beautiful and there they got a nice little flat. There the streets smelled special. There was peace and we had a good time. My mother married and he went to the army and we had to move. So my mother, my father and me and my sister and brother moved around several time because of it and I was always the new kid. At the end we had to deal with really bad children. Typical juveniles and so we moved back into the Rhine area and got the house from his father and lived then amongst real farmers. These area relates to the CD, Don't Join Mirical.

These poeple were religous and we were educationally opressed. Every idea we had to get into a career wasn't possible, or or only open to people with better grades, or were in a higher school and so is it to this day, and that is terrible and so we can say that many have lost again their own country. Again we are opressed and ok, in art we have now groups and politicians behind us, but still not via the normal schoolsystem, but large discussion about the schoolsystem and real change is going on. Of course the songs are not about the schoolsystem. You have to listen to them and the lyrics are in my website under the section for this Cd, TIME under info.

I went to England and I was schocked in how it looked and that children were taken from their mothers into the infamous carehomes and then neglected. They learned nothing there. And I saw the ugly housing estates and housing prices which are very high. A housing system which is horrible. Yet every body still comes to this country because of the schoolsystem wich is similiar to the American one. Everywhere else it is still opressive.

So I wrote a lot of lyrics or text's how I call them. I work currently on the 5th CD and here again I have written and still write all these text's, terrible. One day I have to memorise them for stage. I do this mostly at best when I listen to music on you tube. Which is with me from classic mixes to metallic rock music. From Mozart to Rammstein over Nina Hagen to Enigma, Era to Sarah Brightman and now to serious opera. German rockmusic is currently quite good so is worth listening to Megaherz, ......., Lando von Herzog, and several deutsch-turkish rapper bands. Even so we have some really aggresive once. The good once are........

The music was done by me on the computer with dark strong drums and brilliant piano melodies. The first try to create classical pieces and what I think how they should be. It doesn't mean that they came out classical, but that it is a start.
