Zanzibar crosses the world-fusion borders with heavy, infectious groove influenced Afro-Funk mixing into traditional and not so traditional Latin/Afro Cuban tunes. Mix in some funk and your feet will be moving to any tune played in their set.

Zanzibar's freshman release captures their live sound brought into the studio setting. The band's members pack a punch into the eight tracks that are great for listening and dancing to almost anywhere, anytime.

With a no gimmick approach to their original compositions and production, Zanzibar brings a very refreshing and new sound to the musical landscape. Their style can't be readily defined but extensively enjoyed.

This will become one of those few CD's you will go to time after time.
