Album Notes

Listening to Buddy Zapatas' music is like walking through an old out of the way Junk Shop. Walking through you find all sorts of curios and sounds that grab you. Bits and pieces pulled together from all sorts of influences with a heavy coat of blues dust on it. The end result is Junk Shop Blues. Nice resonator sounds, cheap synths samples with doses of back country blues, brash rock and touching balads. Buddy delivers music which is honest, heartfelt and, soulful. "Who are you and what the hell did you do with Leon Redbone"...Terry Anderson (The Yahoos and The Olympic Ass Kicking Team)
