Lively flute and skillful percussion section
author: Music Connection Magazine

With his lively flute (a Japanese Shakuhachi) and supported by a group that includes a skillful percussion section, flautist and multi-instrumentalist Zasloff presents a collection of themes that often sound like world jazz, especially "She Did It." "Warm Heart" is a whimsical number, and is counterbalanced by the mellow, moody "Suite Shakuhachi," which features a synthesizer as a foundation. The artist has lots of TV scoring experience and that should help his prospects for this CD.
