Zach Broocke was born in Milwaukee, WI on a blistering June afternoon in 1979. Nobody cares about that though....Fast forward to Nashville, TN 2001...after a stint at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.. Zach Moved to TN. Why? Keep reading...... After Recording up in a holler that we all really miss just outside of Nashville, the debut record, Be Somebody was released in April of 2004. After touring for months and months Zach decided to move to warmer pastures in early 2005. Now 27, Zach has taken up new residence in Hollywood, CA. Backed by a new group of musicians including Jamie Wollam on drums (Jackson Browne), Jared Leifert on bass, Adam Grace on keys, Joe Corcoran on guitars, and Mike Freas on lapsteel and guitars, the world feels like a full beer. And its last call people...last call.

I heard Remember Me in the Paste Magazine cd sampler and I was blown away... but the other songs on the Last Call ep are even better! They rock, they folk, they're smart and contagious... No doubt that Mr Broocke could really write the Blonde On Blonde of the new millennium, I'm waiting for that.

Too Good To Go Unheard!

I heard "Remember Me" on the Paste 30 Compilation and immediately sought out the CD. I was not disappointed. It reminded me of Tommy Conwell & The Young Rumblers. Hopefully Zach enjoys more success than they did. If he ever needs promotional help, I'll do what I can. I'm already spreading the word. Buy this CD now. It gets better with every listen. There's not a weak track on it.
