Zeek Duff - Midnight Roses - Fingerstyle Jazz Guitar

Zeek Duff is no stranger to the music business, having played guitar professionally for nearly 40 years. However, after performing and recording over the years with numerous artists from a couple of "One Hit Wonders" to marvelous geniuses running the style gamut from Jethro Burns to Donny Hathaway, this is Zeek's first real solo effort.

After a lot of research and trial and error headaches, the world of digital audio recording is no longer a mystery to many professional musicians; Zeek is no exception, and this recording will bear that out, confidently. After spending roughly 30 years living and working in and around Chicago, Zeek returned to beautiful Colorado, where he was raised to appreciate nature, as well as the finer things in life. So, working from his home in Longmont, he built a small, but state of the art studio and began to strive for the best sounds he could create.

"Here is the result of a 5 year effort to get and learn to use new equipment and methods. Hopefully, my friends old and new, will enjoy the fruits of this hard, but fun - labor of love. Playing guitar has always been pretty easy for me, but getting it to sound as I expect in a recording has been a real challenge. I can only hope the listener is as pleased with what I've done as I am."

Zeek's CDs are professionally Mastered, pressed from a "glass master," with 4 color offset printed covers and liner, jewel cased and shrinkwrapped, all by Oasis CD Manufacturing. They are NOT CDRs, and are major label quality to assure the buyer great sound in any player capable of playing high quality audio CDs!
