This meditation music compilation features five 15-minute recordings designed to induce relaxation and aid meditation. Each recording uses special tones underneath the music to entrain the mind to enter deep relaxation/meditation. An explanation of how these tones work is given at the end of this track listing.
Track 1: Deep Relaxation
Deep Relaxation evokes spaciousness and peace, giving you a sanctuary to escape the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The music presents a pleasant soundscape of dreamy synths and tranquil bells, and sits on top of Theta sound waves that help entrain the mind to a deep state of relaxation.
Track 2: Mindfulness Meditation:
Mindfulness Meditation is designed to rescue the mind from being pulled in different directions by the grasping and striving of everyday life. This track features a forest soundscape of natural ambience, entwined with low Theta frequencies to help you achieve a deep state of mindfulness. Eliminate the distraction and bring your mind back to centre.
Track 3: Stress Release
Stress Release takes you to a distant place where your stress and worries will dissolve amidst a hypnotic soundscape of dreamy synths and echoing Tibetan bells. The music features Alpha and Theta sound waves to help induce relaxation. If you're having a stressful day, close your eyes and give yourself 15-minutes to escape it all with this serene meditation.
Track 4: Zen Calm
Zen Calm is the perfect way to remedy an agitated mind, and help you find calm focus amidst chaos and confusion. The music features Theta sound waves that help evoke a Zen-like state, accompanied by a natural water stream flowing to the intermittent sound of birds in the surrounding trees. If you are finding it difficult to focus your mind in a particular situation or task, let Zen Calm put you in the 'Zen Zone'.
Track 5: Peaceful Sleep
Peaceful Sleep contains Delta sound waves that help prepare the mind for sleep. If you are struggling to fall asleep because of an overactive mind or stressful lifestyle, simply put on your headphones and let the tranquil sounds float you away into a sleepy state.
*Peaceful Sleep should not be listened to while driving or operating machinery.

About the Special Tones:
The special tones in these recordings are known as Binaural Beats, a scientifically proven way of training (entraining) the brain to move into different states. Binaural Beats work by sending a slightly different sound frequency to each ear through stereo headphones. The difference between these two frequencies matches the frequency we want to entrain the brain to.
So, for example, if the left ear is sent a sound frequency of 200 Hz, and the right ear is sent one of 205 Hz, the brainwaves automatically begin to vibrate at the difference between these two signals (ie. 5 Hz). The technical term for this process is 'frequency following response'.
Sound waves containing a frequency of 5 Hz entrain the brain in the Theta zone (4-8Hz). In this state the brain is relaxed and able to enter deep states of relaxation and meditation.
When we are in a relaxed yet receptive state, perhaps watching a movie or book, our brainwaves run at around 20 ~ 25 Hz, this is known as the Beta State. And when we are asleep our brains run at around 1-4hz, which is known as the Delta State.
The recordings in this album mainly use Theta frequencies to induce deep states of relaxation and meditation. Except for the Peaceful Sleep track, which uses low Theta and high Delta frequencies to help induce sleep.
