    Molly Zenobia has the voice of a haunted angel. Her songs are so poetic and intense, that once listened to, one is changed in some way or another. That's how powerful this girl's songs are. Her song canvas is strong, and in shades of grays and blues. "Would you still love the sky if there wasn't any blue?"

    what can you say about molly without falling into the pits of understatements. well, let's try... 1) she's talented (understatement) 2) she's a great songwriter (understatement) 3) she's beautiful (understatement) 4) she's got more wisdom in a strand of chest hair than most mainstream artists have in their totality (understatement) skin is beyond the realm of debut cd, it surpasses it and ventures into what normally is an artists' fourth or fifth installment in their career. skin is just the piano and molly, and that's damn perfect, if not better. go buy it now ( or i swear i'll take you karaoke-ing in Canada ). if you ever get a chance to see her live, DO NOT miss that great chance to hear AND meet one of today's most underated artist. so GO! GO NOW!!! DONT MAAKE ME ORDER THEM CANADIAN TICKETS!!!!! I SWEAR I WILL!!!! I WILL!!!

    I almost find it ironic that Ms. Zenobia chose to call her album 'Skin' - it's so much deeper than that. If anything, she peels away the skin and reveals the glaring underside of emotions - all of them. From the rending sorrow of 'Sometimes' (this song makes me cry every time I hear it - EVERY time) and the rollicking fun of 'Overalls' (after all, doesn't everyone love Overalls?) to the steel-spined, bittersweet truth in 'Sky' and the strident yet articulate anger in 'When does the Bullet Fall' (no senseless rage - the woman tells it strong without hitting the ridiculous 'Oh I hate you' extremes of many other artists), Skin delivers nothing but sheer ecstasy for the ears and the soul. If you like to *feel* music pulse through your veins, wrapping around you, melding to you like a part of you that's been missing forever, buy this CD. Let it transport you. I promise, you won't regret it. Ever.

    Just surfing your site and heard Skin - WOW! - Gotta buy it! - stunningly original. I found Molly's music to be both powerful and moving. Checking out her webpage I see she will have another new CD out this year. I can't wait! As a University Professor I look forward to introducing Molly and her music to my students. They are going to love her too!

    I bought Molly Zenobia's CD on a whim, and now I simply can't get enough of her. She is a genius, and I wish everyone knew about her. I highly, highly recommend Skin and any other albums which Molly Zenobia will come out with in the future. If you look hard enough, you can even find live B-sides.
