Album Notes

ZEPTEPI (Zep-tep-ee) - March 2008
Zeptepi was born early in 2001, the brainchild of songwriter Phil Dean. The band is based in Melbourne, Australia, Phil relocating there from England at the turn of the new millennium. They have released two albums – Travelling Through Time (2005) and Universality (2007), and gained a reputation for dynamic energy-filled live shows. The music refuses to fit neatly into any one category, following no fashion… leaping from post punk new wave to rock and to folk with an effortless ease.

Initially started as a solo project, Zeptepi soon became a full band and played their first show towards the end of 2004. The band have played many shows since then, received TV & radio airplay all over the world, and made many good friends along the way.

The current line-up comprises Phil Dean (vocals/guitar), Bernie Dodd (drums), Frank Packer (bass), Bryce Clark (keyboards) and Hayley Anderson (violin) and the band are currently starting to work on their third album.
