ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“Zerimar and Fritz performed on acoustical guitars, but with a Flamenco-inspired frenzy that made the room sound like a tunnel with a freight train running through it. Bach and Dick Dale in the same set make perfect sense when performed by these virtuoso speed demons.” – Easy Reader, March, 2007

Zerimar and Fritz have been performing in the Los Angeles South Bay over 7 years. They’ve recently performed to sell out concerts at famed Live at the Lounge/Comedy Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, and been featured performers at numerous local venues in the California South Bay area. Featured on 2 cable television programs, Adventures in Life and Café Latte, Jose Zerimar was recently written up as Best of Beach in the entertainment section of the South Bay Easy Reader. Their rendition of the classic “Moliendo Café” was recently featured on the top 50 list of RADIOVINILEMANIA - Jazz & Latin Italian radio station.

Jose (Zerimar) originally from Mexico City brings the style, technique and passion of his Mexican heritage to the music. Jean (Fritz) a native to Madison, Wisconsin adds a blend of folk and vocal tradition to this power duo. Combining Jose's explosive guitar with Jean's power rhythms, unleashes and incredible duet of acoustical magic.
