Beautiful Birds (Extended Instrumental Version) [2012]

by Zero Orbit and the Rocket Booster Kit Club

Stylistically, this song shows my  influence from Joe Zawinul and Weather Report.  This song is in the model of fusion-jazz of the 1970's, yet the arrangement is non-conventional, produced over a five-year period in an entirely computerized manner.
Genre: Electronic: Nujazz

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This song materialized during the Fuzzy Weather sessions in 2007, appearing on that album in its original short form.  In the spring of 2012, during a burst of enthusiastic studio development, it evolved into the Extended Instrumental Version which you may now hear.  I feel this is a fine instance of the song, featuring instrumental and beat-pattern refinements as well as improvements in overall clarity, showing my advances in skill at mixing and sound quality recording, as do the songs which can be heard together with this new version of Beautiful Birds on the mini-album, "Zero Orbit and the Rocket Booster Kit Club" (2012).
