Zhaklin (French pronunciation of Jacqueline) was only five years old when she cried for her mother to buy her a piano. When looking back she doesn't even know where that urge for music came from, she just knew she wanted a piano. Soon after her mother got her the piano, she started playing by ear. When she was eight, her mother put her to music school where she would study piano, solfeg, and voice for seven years. She graduated music school when she was fourteen, a year later she and her mother moved to United States for permanent residency.
Zhaklin lost her father when she was five. He was killed in their house, so Zhaklin always felt her father's absence through her childhood. During that period music was her friend, she used music to feel happy, to grieve her sorrow. As a result of her painful loss, Zhaklin developed a strong passion to help children in need. She hopes through her music she can do just that.
Zhaklin always knew that music is what she wanted to do. Thus after graduating high school she attended community college where she received her AA degree and Music Certificate. Right after she transferred to California. State University of Northridge where she majored in Music Industry.
Zhaklin has a zest for life. She is filled with poetic thoughts and lyrics. Her life has demonstrated over and over again her fondness to articulate her powerful emotions and her sense of human tragedy and happiness and composite those rough ideal emotions and create her own sense of music. Zhaklin sees no limits in her ability to write and perform. Her drive comes naturally. She says," There are no boundaries in music, there are no corners or edges, music is an infinite and burning of each individual's desire and dreams."
As a child, Zhaklin has always been quiet the entertainer, always loving the spotlight. Not much has changed since than. Like her lyrics say in her song "...but still wish I could be the one someday, that role that little girl had made...."

Zhaklin's CD is one of a kind. She has a great sence of music genres, and she uses several genres in her CD. Therefore, Zhaklin has something to offer for everyone since she is a versatile artist. Zhaklin is a wanderful songwriter, and this is evident in her songs. She is true to her self, and therefore she is true to her music.

What a great surprise that was to find out that Zhaklin had her first baby CD produced. I had heard Zhaklin before; live playing on her keyboard and always new that this natural born talent who had so much to offer to her audience was not going to be lost in the woods. It's true that they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. She has been through many ups and downs in her life but the reality is that she has survived life's little hardships and blossomed to be a talanted, beautiful, passionate girl. They say that time heals the wounds, and yes it does and all of us know it. I know that in the future, with the hard work that Zhaklin is putting in her music and lyrics there will be better songs bigger bands and who knows maybe her own private dance to travel the world with her. Zhaklin was a little star within family and friends and we were happy but I'm happy that her audience is getting bigger. I really hope to see you make the charts on the VH1 and you know what else? I want to see you on E! Wishing you much success and happiness. Hrips.
