Greg Ziesemer is an accomplished musician and 20+ year veteran of the central Indiana music community. A talented singer/songwriter, Greg demonstrates a unique sensibility and perspective in his original compositions, reflecting on relationships, social awareness and self-discovery, and celebrating the trials and triumphs of that unlikely hero of the American experience, the underdog.
Kriss Luckett has been active in music for over 20 years in Indiana as well, performing as a vocalist in a wide variety of projects. She has proven herself to be a prolific songwriter and a talented vocalist, both of which give her a deeply expressive and individual style. Her songs come from deep within to explore a wide range of emotions and the broad spectrum of human experience, and her velvety vocal style invokes a sense of heart, passion and truthfulness.
A live performance by Greg and Kriss brings together a wealth of sensations and dynamics. In the course of an evening they move fluidly through their catalog of original songs, and occasionally dust off a classic cover, rendering a new shine to a seldom-heard gem of a song. Their voices and guitars blend beautifully to express genuine emotion and deliver each song in their unique fashion. Their lyrics and harmonies intermingle to draw the listener in for an intimate musical experience.
Their brand-new dual CD releases, "Bare Bones" and "Virginia", demonstrate the depth and quality of their songwriting, as "Bare Bones" is just that, the acoustic duo stripped down, just two guitars and two beautifully harmonious voices. "Virginia", on the other hand, takes the basic tracks of "Bare Bones" to new heights, with adornments of dobro, mandolin, banjo, and even cello, violin and percussion. Each collection stands on its own, two unique versions of the same songs.

Bare bones dressed up
author: P.G.Rutten
Same record as bare Bones. If you like acoustic music check out this record and hear all the songs without the dressing up. But nevertheless you still have to agree upon the fact that one and one gives three. Adding their talents, they made a great record.
