Album Notes

Zikzak have created a style of lush, sophisticated pop that, while dealing with darker themes of love and loss, is also infused with a buoyant sense of humor. Spotlighting Todd Stadtman's razor sharp songwriting, their 2000 debut album "See You There" combines Stadtman's velvet crooning with David Rubinstein's powerful guitar work and precise, hook-laden arrangements, creating an intelligent and moving collection which deserves many repeated listens.

A good CD that fits in line with artists like Elvis Costello (in his Mystery Dance era) and Squeeze.
