The Rebirth of "True" Hip-Hop is taking place in the UK
The collaboration of all of the artists from the UK reminded me of why I initially fell in love with Hip-Hop back in the early 80's. What makes this album and group so much more significant is the fact the the fifth element of hip-hop (Jesus Christ) is seamlessly incorporated within their music. Quality production from Dwayne Tryumf and DJ's like Secret Weapon along with lyrical emcees is hard to find here in the US due to the oversaturation of today's rap music and the obsession with money and the things it can buy. I can't wait to get their sophmore release whenever it is released.
