This EP-length album consists of eight songs that explore sounds, melodies, and harmonies from around the world and fuse them with modern electronic elements like synth basses, sweeps, blips, pads, and drum machines. Close your eyes and imagine exploring an ancient South American ruins in "Enter the Temple". Feel the cool breeze as the pulse of "Drum and Bossa" gets your foot tapping. ABOUT THE ARTIST

zircon (Andrew Aversa) is a Philadelphia-based composer and producer specializing in electronic music and music for media. He has licensed dozens of songs from his previous two albums "Impulse Prime" and "Antigravity", and has written and arranged a variety of custom beds, songs, and underscores for everything from independent video games, to music libraries, radio spots, advertisements, and more. Andrew's musical career began after eight years of piano lessons, at the age of 15, with a handful of remixes from popular video games. In 2004, he earned a small contract to write music for a children's adventure game, after which he decided to pursue composition as an avenue of scholarly study, and eventually, a career.

Andrew also maintains an interest in sound design, having released two commercial synthesizer soundbanks, and is currently working on new, cutting-edge software instruments in collaboration with Wilbert Roget, II of RogetMusic.com.
