Album Notes

"Going West, Looking East" is the first international release from renowned Croatian session guitarist, Zlatko Brodaric. The 11 tracks on this release are a pure display of blazing intrumental rock, caught between the likes of Steve Morse, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, Scott Henderson, Lee Ritenour and Robben Ford. Rock, blues, fusion and classical are all perfectly blended, with a unique Eastern-Eropean twist.

Born in 1956, in Pula, Croatia began playing guitar at the age of seven studying classical guitar. After being introduced to classic heavy rock and progressive rock in the 70's, Zlatko's musical journey would lead him down paths, which ultimately lead to the album now being held in your hands.

Throughout Zlatko's 15 year professional career, he has played on over 2000 songs for various musical acts of all styles. His experience also includes touring as a side-man, and released his first album, "Between Perpendiculars", in Croatia in 1999. The popularity of this release garnered him a "Best Croation Guitarist" nomination by the Croation Music Union.

CD comes enhanced with both VCD (video CD) and DVD quality videos for the single "Goran & Luka", an instructional PDF book titled "12 Lead Guitar Exercises" (with acompanying MP3 examples), bonus MP3's and software.
