Zoey and Diana, each in her own right an exceptional talent, with a long musical career (25 and 50 years), together are a powerhouse duo whose musical range is unlimited! The name ZoDia is the brainchild of Larry Swist, audio engineer extraordinaire, whose work includes mixing for The Grammy Awards, The Tonight Show, Spyro Gyra, and the Newport Jazz Festival. Larry's "eureka moment" resulted in a name that captured the spirit of this mother-daughter team. ZoDia has shared the stage with some world-class talent: Bobby Militello, the late Jim Kurzdorfer, Jeff Jarvis, and Bobby Jones. Their first effort, Unconditional Harmony, was a 5-year collaborative project of original works written by Diana (Dee) and by Zoey. They now have a new project, Tryin' Times, which features bold arrangements of time-honored classics such as the Beatles' "Norwegian Wood" and the Stylistics' "People Make the World Go Round." This more Pop-flavored material flows seamlessly into exquisitely sophisticated performances of Michel Legrand's "The Summer Knows," from the soundtrack of The Summer of '42.
