Album Notes

This is the "Last Waltz" of Zoe Speaks, this Now ex husband and wife duo spent twelve years touring and making some of the best contemporary/traditional, Appalachian based music, and each CD hold up to time. This particular CD is some of there finest work, together and separately. Both Mitch and Carla are award wining songwriters. And they are known for there tight harmonies. Nationally known producer and musician Dirk Powell really brings the individual qualities of Mitch and Carla to the forefront on these tracts. This cd is a fine example of how some of the best singer/songwriters,musicians,producers are out there flying just under the radar! Well worth the money and a must for fans of contemporary Appalachian songwriting!

Pearl is still our favorite overall, but we love these songs too. Probably been said too often, but it's a real shame these two parted ways. Enjoy
