Album Notes

Zone is the creative working relationship of Chris Brandrick and Andrew Cadmore and was formed with Potentia during the Spring of 1988.

"Zone is a creative unit, based in the United Kingdom, who recognise the apparently differing individual, social and religious needs inherent in all cultures as permutations upon the central NEED for Love, Life and Light.

The constant revelation of this NEED allows one to be open to an ever expanding awareness of the communicative interconnections potentially inherent in everything. Zone's field of work lies in the expression and communication, through varying artistic media, of this vast expanse of potential energy and the constant revelation when one is receptive to this NEED."

Released on Potentia (catalogue No.ZONE CD004) in 1994 on CD format only, in an initial edition of 1000 copies.

'The Divine Simplicity' allows for absolute complexity within the utter simplicity of Unity, Unity as seen in all its diversity and also the underlying Unity of all that appears as diversity.

"A crystal-sounding sky
displays its whirlwinds of light
on the colorless world of death.
Beauty with a wide invincible breastplate
and glistening limbs
alights before the absurdity of the void.
And a flood of divine light
dashes through the immensity of a breath."
