ZOOK - Finnish Rock'n'roll!!

The musicians of ZOOK are all experienced rockers who love what they are doing - playing their original music for people. Singer Bryn Jones, originally a welshman, writes strong lyrics which tell real stories. The rhythmsection cares for warm rocking sound with a flavour of soul and blues.
ZOOK started playing live in 2003 and thanks for the happening rockclub scene in Finland, they keep on touring regularly. As a true live band, they have created a healthy relationship with their audience and the gigs are well attended. To support their career, ZOOK has released one album and a musicvideo.

Debut album ROOT CANAL RECOVERY

During the fall 2005, ZOOK recorded and finished their debut album "Root Canal Recovery" which was released in January 2006 by Kuru Records, an indie label run by one of the musicians. The album consists of twelve original songs and a video of a song "Chemistry" (only available on a physical CD). Lyrics are written by singer Bryn Jones and all music is composed, arranged and performed by the four members of the band. Mainly straight rock'n'roll, the album also includes couple of numbers with a strong soul vibe and couple slower pieces.
