For a couple of years Zozaya have dwelt on party-ready anthems and tounge-in-cheek lyrics, but in this track, made for mexican TV series "Morir En Martes", de Monterrey duo does anything but keep it light.
Addressing the insecure and violent times that their natal country has been suffering through for the past 5 years, the band construct a rally anthem with NIN-like beats and guitars, and in-your-face lyrics ("go out on the streets / take mexico back") that, clearly, are meant to inyect some passion back into modern mexican society.
Featuring Ok Cougar's Paulina Cortazar on vocals, and a very filmic, yet fluent, melodic structure, this song proves that Zozaya is a lot more than plain fun and games.
