I love the album but unlike many here I dont hear much new about it except maybe some newer sound not available before, beatles and pink floys did some of this, also some south american musicians have played with this kind of sound, look for "rombos" from Gustavo Cerati (argentina), lisent to "carnaval" from Lucybell (chile).. or some of the old works from La ley, also from chile.... (maybe "la ley" less than the others) you could also go for "abismo" from Illya Kuryaki (argentina)or "cielos" and "verte reir" from Nicole (chile) although Nicole has strong influences from Gustavo Cerati... well, give that a chance and you'll see...

The Mystery solved

I was looking for zydeco music on Rhapsody and thought it was weird that Dr. Jules and the Zydeblues Revue could be so heavy and contemplative... After several weeks of thinking about it I realized Rhapsody had this music mislabeled. While listening to the lyrics and googling them I finally hit a match and realized this music was from the band Zu. So now I'm hooked and am hoping they have a long career. Both Zu albums are really solid and harken back to the days of AOR in a Pink Floyd way. Well worth the listen.
