Welcome to CD #3! With great joy, we present to you this album of love songs we have written to each other over the past eight years. Feel free to click on any of the songs to hear a sample of our music.

OUR MUSICAL LOVE STORY

"Love Never Ends," but every love story has a special beginning! For 16 years we were family friends, Lloyd on the East coast and me on the West, each living our own lives. From the time we met, we had a mutual admiration for one another, spiritually and musically, and kept in touch by mail, phone and through family. In 1997, Lloyd really wowed me with a cassette on which he had played guitar, sung, and wrote all the songs. I was so inspired, I prayed to God for the gift of songwriting and wrote my first song shortly thereafter!

Then in 1998, at Lloyd's parents' golden wedding anniversary, we fell in love! For five days, we sang, danced, laughed and took walks through nature. During the six months that followed, we wrote and phoned nearly every day. We became engaged at Christmas. I flew to Florida several times, where we recorded a cassette of six love songs we wrote to each other under this same title. Lloyd remastered them from the original DAT tapes and we have included them in this compilation.

We were married the first day of the new millennium, January 1, 2000. Lloyd's expertise with the guitar, singing and playing in clubs and for Sunday Masses, coupled with my years of cantoring for churches prepared us for our music ministry which we call "Songs of Hope."

A fun story about one of our songs took place on our fifth wedding anniversary in Kauai. On our way from the Shakteau in Waikoko Beach on Hanalei Bay to the church in Kapaa to renew our wedding vows, we were stopped by the sheriff, who had closed the road due to the "inu inu" (storm) that had flooded the only road around the island. We had to admit we were trapped in paradise! And thus a new song was born! You'll hear Lloyd strumming his new koa wood ukulele from Kauai and you may even hear me dancing the hula.

We hope you'll enjoy listening to all the original songs on this recording, and some of these emotions will find a place deep in your own heart. Love can mean many things to many people, but may you experience the highest and the best of love as in 1 Corinthians 13, which inspired the words to our title song, "Love Never Ends."
