Zuri is a prolific singer, songwriter who takes the listener on an audio voyage through heart felt emotions from a woman’s perspective. Giving you the shared feeling of having been there, done that. She keeps it real, her lyrics express what some women go through and may want to verbalize without the risk of bashing or doggin’ all men.

As a vocalist Zuri has worked, or recorded with such artist's as Chaka Khan, Michael Bolton, Johnnie Taylor, Shirley Brown, Shirley Ceasar, Jennifer Holiday, Brenda Holloway, Vesta, Brenton Wood, Ramsey Lewis, to name a few. As an actress she done voice over work, she's has appeared in countless television commercials/shows, films and videos .

In 2001 Zuri penned a song on the Grammy Nominated
"Gotta get the groove back" CD by the late great
Johnnie Taylor along with singing all of the background, Zuri has sang all background parts on several Malaco artist's projects.

She's also the voice on the current number one Southern Soul duet with Johnnie Taylor's son Floyd Taylor, titled "Baby I've Changed" written by Rich Cason and Zuri, produced by Rich Cason.
Zuri also has a motivational tee shirt and tank top line (Zuriology) and a novel that publishers are bidding for.

This is Zuri's first CD on Rasiah Records, CEO Sathiya Raj who's obviously in tuned to great sound when he hears it.
A Woman's Perspective was produced by Rich Cason, his track record includes such greats as Ray Charles, Johnnie Taylor, the Temptations, Freda Payne, the Fifth Dimension as well co-producing one the 80’s club hits with famed producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
